KATIE SEVEREID, DPT, CLT
(Doctor of Physocal Therapy, Certified Lymphedema Specialist)
Katie Severeid earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the
University of Puget Sound in 2007, and has experience in both acute care and outpatient orthopedics.
She is skilled in the McKenzie method of manual therapy, myofacial release and rehabilitation for injured runners.
Katie has also focused on addressing the unique needs of cancer patients. In 2010 she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. As one of
two therapists with this certification in Yamhill County, she has helped those suffering from the side effects of cancer treatments in
the Newberg and McMinnville communities. Her skills also allow her to help those with vascular insuffecenies, lipidema and other
As a third generation Newberg resident, she is devoted to the health of our community. She enjoys meeting and working with people
from a variety of backgrounds and abilities. Her goal is to help each person reach his or her greatest potential.
